Irene Saxton

Irene "Sue" Saxton, age 58, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2008 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born on January 3, 1950 to Burton and Eileen (Clarkson) Saxton, Jr. in Albany, Georgia. Sue was employed at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center for over 35 years as Unit Clerk. She was an avid reader and enjoyed to crochet. Sue also loved and collected angels of all kinds. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Sue is survived by her loving siblings, Robert (Peggy) Saxton, Burton (Sandra) Saxton, III, Beverly McKiddy and Michael Saxton; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 1 – 2:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
