Irene M. Gladney

Irene M. Gladney, age 91, of Toledo, Ohio at West Park Place Independent Living. She was born on March 14, 1923 to Stanley and Stella Modlinski in Toledo. A true passion of Irene's was that she enjoyed all types of gardening, cooking and sharing with everyone that she loved. She married William O. "Bill" Gladney on February 4, 1956 in Toledo and he preceded her in passing on May 1, 2012.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Mary (Bill) Young of South Carolina and Janet (Bernie) Hall of Sylvania; grandchildren, Kevin (Karla) Close, Jennifer (Charles) Newell, Adam (Tracy) Hall and Beth Masters; great-grandchildren, Samantha and Rachel Close, Emma and Reed Newell, Seth Hall and Sean Masters; sisters, Lottie Overberg, Gertrude Lynch and Virginia Miller.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Friends are invited to meet the family on Friday at 10:45 a.m. at the front gates off of Central Ave. then proceed to the gravesite for the graveside service.
