Irene Daisy Floering

Irene Daisy Floering, age 81 of Toledo passed away peacefully Thursday, July 24, 2003 in her home. She was born November 25, 1921 to Fred and Margaret (McGraw) Hintz in Toledo, Ohio. Irene was the widow of Charles F. Floering. They married on July 14, 1945. She was employed with the former Maumee Valley Home and MCO Hospital for 27 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend and employee and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Irene, was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Floering and beloved grandson, Austin D. Floering. She is survived by her loving sons, Bob (Carol) Floering and Chuck (Marguerite) Floering and Paul (Jackie) Floering, grandchildren, Rob; Aimee (Rooster); Charles; Alex; Luke (Ellison) and Amy (Symanki); brothers, Bob (Dorothy) Hintz; Bill (Fran) Hintz; sisters, Virginia (Tom) Gunn and Nancy (Ken) Ingram, as well as, special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive guests Monday from 2-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Chaplain Hal Mills. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial Contributions may be made in Irene's name to Hospice of NW Ohio. The Floering family wishes to thank the staff and nurses of Hospice of NW Ohio and the Toledo Hospital for the loving care and compassion they showed to Irene.
