Irene A. Colledge

Irene A. Colledge, age 87, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at home. She was born November 19th, 1921 to Edward and Margaret Takacs in Toledo, Ohio. Irene was a longtime member of St. Stephen's Church. She enjoyed crocheting and keeping up on her favorite soaps.

In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her husband, William V. Colledge; son, William K. Colledge; brothers, Stephen Takacs; Emery Takacs and Albert Takacs and sister, Margaret Borteck.

The family will receive guests Thursday from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. 9419-473-0300) followed by a Memorial Service beginning at 12:00 p.m.

Inez and Randy would like to thank the nurses of Promedica Hospice and, Kim Schmidt of Passport and nurse's aid, Lee Ann for all the loving care and support they provided for Irene over the years. They always made Irene smile.
