Inon Wayne Morrison

January 14, 1924 — January 31, 2015

Inon Wayne Morrison, age 91, of Toledo, passed away peacefully, Saturday, January 31, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 14, 1924 to Alfred and Bina Morrison in Kentucky. Wayne was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving his country proudly during WWII. He and his wife owned and operated Wayne Morrison Moving Company for 50 years. Wayne was a founding member of Faith Baptist Church, the Zenobia Shrine as a Jeepster and a Mason. He loved fishing, hunting and gardening; making his yard perfect year after year. Wayne loved nothing more than spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Morrison; sisters, Kay Jensen and Pauline Morrison; 2 infant brothers. Wayne is survived by his wife of almost 70 years, Margaret Morrison; children, Audrey Bonnell, Randi (Phillip) Himebaugh, and Roger (Penny) Morrison; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; and many dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 4 – 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., (419-381-1900).
