Inez R. Moring, 87, of Holland, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2008 in Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek after a short illness. She was born on February 27, 1921 in Toledo to William and Ida Bruggeman. Inez graduated from Clay High School in Oregon and married her high school sweetheart Walter Jr. in 1942. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who was loved by all that knew her and will be greatly missed.
She was a giving person who volunteered for Easter Seals, March of Dimes, Cub Scouts, Mobile Meals and much more. Inez was a very athletic person in her earlier years; she loved to watch sports either in person or on TV. She was an avid bridge player and was especially proud of her Junior Master rating with the American Contract Bridge League.
Inez was preceded in death by her husband Walter Jr., sisters, Wilma and Elda, and brother, Richard. She is survived by her daughter, Jill (Howard Hayden); son, Walter III; sister, Laura; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her wishes there will be no visitation or services. The Newcomer Funeral Home, (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Wolf Creek and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their professional care and kindness.
Those wishing to make monetary donations are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
