Ina Jane Meyer

Ina J. Meyer, age 85, formerly of Mayberry and Toledo, passed away Sunday, May 1st, 2011 at the Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek, Holland, Ohio. She was born October 22nd, 1925 to Russell and Faith (Byrne) Orr in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania. Ina married Clarence O. Meyer on May 14th, 1946 in Canton, Ohio and together they raised 6 children. She was a parishioner at St. Catherine, Christ the King and St. Joseph's , Sylvania Churches. While Ina stayed home to raise her children, she could often be found working in the school library, attending sporting events and acting as a Girl Scout Troop Leader. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Tigers fan, but she enjoyed all sports. Ina also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, preceding her in death was her daughter, Patricia (Meyer) Root. Left to cherish her memory is her husband; Clarence O. Meyer; children, Nancy (Bob) Smithmyer, Kathy (Charles) Lillibridge, Debby (Joe) Gomez, Dan (Sue) Meyer and John (Victoria) Meyer and brother, Kenny Orr of Leechburg, PA.; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

At Ina's request there will be no visitation and a Private Service will be held for the family.
