Ida Lutz

Ida M. Lutz, age 86, of Sylvania Township, passed away Wednesday, July 29th, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born July 3rd, 1923 to Leo and Bertha (Bodi) Westhoven in Toledo. On January 24th, 1942 Ida married the love of her life, Arthur A. Lutz. Ida worked in retail several years. She enjoyed traveling, casino trips and was a wonderful cook. Ida will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Ida was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ann DeShelter and brothers, Joseph and Vincent Westhoven. Ida is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Arthur A. Lutz; son, Arthur (Donna) Lutz; daughters, Linda (Bob) James and Joyce (Tom) Conlin; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.

The family will receive guests Thursday from 3-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Fr. James Auth. Entombment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
