It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Howard King Jr., age 76, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2024.
Howard was born on September 13, 1947, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Howard & Ruby King.
He was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Howard was known for his kind heart, sense of humor, and infectious smile. He was a dedicated employee retiring from Toledo Edison moving on to work at Macy's Department Store. Howard took pride in giving back to the community and helped to revitalize the Warren Sherman Festival. He enjoyed his time as a carpentry artist creating amazing pieces that will encourage other artist for lifetimes to come. He followed his passion and love for photography that took him across the world to Paris, his second love. Howard also worked to make Jaguar Photography a profitable business ensuring that "love never fails" while capturing families most memorable moments on film. Howard is survived by his first love and only daughter Chanda King and also his brother Eric King. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on April 2, 2024 for immediate family. A special thank you to Christopher Harris, his family, and the Black Frog Brewery.
