Horace Jerome Lively Jr.

Horace "Jerry" Lively Jr., age 62, resident of Erie, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. He was born on August 1, 1959, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Horace and Annie (Binion) Lively.

Jerry had worked for Jeep in Toledo for many years. A classic car enthusiast, he loved his 71 Cutlass convertible, which was his baby. He looked forward to going to car shows in the summer and "warshing" his cars. He also had a love for motorcycles and enjoyed taking bike rides with his wife, Donna. He was an animal lover, especially dogs. He and Donna would take walks together at Cullen Park. Jerry liked watching ID Discovery and hanging out with his family, especially the grandchildren. A jack of all trades, he was a handyman who helped others' in any way he could; he could fix anything. Most of all, family was most important. He will forever be missed by all who knew him.

Those left to forever cherish his memory are his wife, Donna Stevens, whom he has shared his life with for 24 years; children, Sharon Stone, Justin (Stephanie Steer) Lively, Ryan (Alicen) Kowalski, Brandon (Amal) Kowalski, and Nicole Stevens; grandchildren, Cyanne Stilwell, Graham Stilwell, Brielle Lively, Stella Steer, and Hayden Kowalski; sister, Sue Campbell; and several nieces, nephews, and other loved ones who will truly miss him.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his son, Doug Lively; granddaughter, Breeawna Stilwell; and sister, Debbie Never.

Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm, where the funeral service will take place at 3:00 pm. Jerry will be laid to rest, in Toledo Memorial Park, at a later date.
