Holly Lois Jean Euton-McGhee

Holly Lois Jean Euton-McGhee, age 60, of Toledo, passed away on July 30, 2024 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. She was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend too. Born on December 29, 1963, in Findlay, Ohio, to Ronald Lee Euton and Bonnie Mae (Larkin) Merrow.

A graduate of Maumee Valley Country Day School, she continued her education at Muskinghum University, where she graduated with a Bachelors in accounting. Holly led a fulfilling life that touched the hearts of all who knew her. She was known for her warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering love for her family. Holly dedicated many years of hard work as an owner and operator of an estate sale company. She also had a passion for antiquing and was known to frequent antique stores with a keen eye for hidden treasures, which she would sell at her booth at the local antique mall. 

An avid lover of the outdoors, Holly found joy in fishing, golfing, gardening, camping, and canoeing. Her adventurous spirit and love for nature shone brightly in everything she did. One of Holly's most cherished traditions was preparing Thanksgiving dinner for her family. The meal was always followed by a lively game of poker, adding a touch of fun and excitement (sometimes feistiness) to the gathering! Family meant everything to Holly, and she treasured each moment spent together during family gatherings.

Holly's kindness, warmth, and zest for life will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace knowing she was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by family and friends alike.

Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving children, Sam (Alli) Gold, Ben Mazzie, and Jeep Mazzie (Grace); a beautiful granddaughter, Lola; father, Ronald (Ruth) Euton; sisters, Penny Euton-Cheadle and Kelly Euton-Herbert; a step-brother, Walley Merrow; a step-sister, Sue (Bob) Shaw; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Holly was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie (Walter) Merrow and her loving partner whose memory she held dear, Terry McGhee. 

Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, Ohio 43614, on Sunday, August 11, 2024, from 10:00 am until the time of her funeral at 2:00 pm. A private family burial will take place at a family cemetery, where Holly will be laid to rest.
