Herbert R. Laffartha

Herbert R. Laffartha Jr., age 57 of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 30, 2010. He was born December 5, 1952 to Herbert and Norma (Mercer) Laffartha Sr . in Toledo. Herbert worked at Davis Metals for a number of years and he proudly served in the U. S. Navy on the Saratoga SCA 60, 7th Fleet during the Vietnam Conflict. Herbert was an avid fisherman who enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and going on long car rides through the countryside. He cherished the memories that he had with his late wife, Linda L. Laffartha who was the love of his life with whom he would have celebrated 35 wonderful years of marriage.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Patsy (Fred) Clouse; Brenda (Tom Carrillo) Stokes; Vicki (Ray Woodall) Stokes and Chris Laffartha; grandchildren, Matthew, Jeremy, Justin, Andrew, Andrea, Anthony, Raymond Jr., Aaron and Fred; great-grandchildren, Lilly, Cameron, Layla and Tyler; siblings, Gloria, David, Cecelia "Pumpkin" (Thomas) Sauerwein and Laurie and many nieces and nephews.
