Herbert D. Ware, age 98, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at The Lakes of Monclova, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 1, 1917 to Harry and Carrie (Fetzer) Ware in Toledo. Herbert retired from Craftmaster Corporation as a Receiving Manager after over 30 years of service. He was an avid Detroit Tiger's fan, enjoyed eating out at local restaurants, trips to the casino and recently playing bingo. Herbert's family will remember him for his love of dogs. He enjoyed their companionship and gave them a wonderful home.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Carol (Ron) Price, Barbara (Michael) Hass, Linda Bunch and Naomi (Tom) Andrzejczak; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and his canine companion, Willough. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Ware and son in law, Edward Bunch.
Herbert will be laid to rest next to his wife, Mabel in Forest Cemetery, following a Private Service at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300), www.NewcomerToledo.com.
