Herbert Arend
Herbert J. Arend, age 70 of Toledo passed away Thursday, September 30, 2010. He was a licensed CDL truck driver for over 20 years, driving locally for Vitron for 13 years. Herbert enjoyed the outdoors, often going hunting or fishing in his spare time.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Cheri (Harder) Arend; children, Lynn Smith, Jennifer (Michael) Toda, Julie (Greg) Powell, Herbie Arend and Beth (Kurt) Ackerman; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
The family will receive guests Tuesday from 2-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
