Henry Penxa, Jr., age 87, of Willingboro, NJ, passed away Monday, August 19, 2013 in Genesis Healthcare in Perrysburg, Ohio. He was born September 9, 1925 in Wilkes Barre, PA to Henry Sr. and Veronica Penxa. Hank served his country with the 4th Marine Division in Iwo Jima, in the Army Artillery in Korea and as an Advisor in Vietnam. He was employed by Stone and Webster Engineering Company of Philadelphia, PA.
Hank is survived by his loving daughter, Monique (Norman) Nordhaus; granddaughter, Amanda Nordhaus; brother, Andrew (Theresa) Penxa; nephew and niece, Andrew, Jr. and Andree Jo. In addition to his parents, Hank was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Penxa.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday, August 30, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
