Henry Francis "Hank" Hummer, age 67, of Toledo, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020 at Spring Meadows Skilled Nursing Facility. He was born on August 5, 1952 to Richard and Marilyn (Stein) Hummer in Toledo, Ohio. Hank was a graduate of Bowsher High School and in his younger years he was an over-the-road CDL driver and later drove locally to be home with his family for Canberra and Hubbard Lumber Company. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed golfing with his son and son-in-law. Hank's family will remember him for being a simple, organized man who worked hard to take care of his family. He was a loving husband, dad and Papa - he will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 48 years, Robin Kay (Frobel) Hummer; children, Jennifer (Kevin) Nowak, Kenneth (Leticia) Hummer and David Hummer (Sheila) ; grandchildren, Cody and Dylan Nowak, Da'Vonte and Dominic Hummer, Breana, Samantha and Benjamin Hummer; siblings, Mary (John) Scare and Robert Hummer and furry friend, Tessa. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, James Jankowski; brother, Richard Carpenter and furry friends, Sadie and Sandy.
At this time and at the family's request there will be no services. Please continue to offer support and comforting words to Hank's wife, children and grandchildren.
