Henrietta E. Janiszewski, 88, passed away on May 31, 2012. She was born on December 19, 1923 to the late Emma and Henry Schramm in Toledo, Ohio.
Henrietta was a member of the Tolesco Sorority for many years. She retired from Toledo Scale Co. after almost 20 years. Henrietta enjoyed playing Bingo, especially with her late husband.
In addition to her parents, Henrietta was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, John; brothers, Carl and Harry; sister, Dorothy; daughter, Carol Ignatowski; son-in-law, Robert Whiteman, Sr.; grandsons, Robert Whiteman, Jr. and Richard Ignatowski, Jr. and Gary Whiteman. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Nancy Whiteman, Janice (James) VanHorn and Michael (Sue) Janiszewski; sister, Myrtle Hill; grandchildren, Tammie (Tim) Johnson, John (Debby) VanHorn, Judi Whiteman, Kimberly (Todd) Shaw, LeAnn (Patrick) Court, Jeremy Janiszewski, David Baptista and Mark Ignatowski; 17 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-granddaughter.
The family will receive guests Tomorrow, Friday, June 8 from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Pastor Frank Paine officiating. Burial at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
