Helena Mckinney

Helena "Tootie" McKinney, age 62, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2007 in her home. She was born June 11, 1945 to Paul and Doris (Braatz) McKinney in Toledo. Helena was an active member as a conductress with VFW #606. She enjoyed bowling on several leagues, playing cards and bingo. She was excited to call herself a "second Mom" to her special niece Heidi and her children, Marissa and Miranda and nephews Doug and Tim. Helena truely enjoyed spending time with her family and friends with the VFW.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her companion of 22 years, Joseph Nadrasik and brother, Jim McKinney. Helena is survived by her sister, Pam Michalski; brother, Chris (Debra) McKinney; nieces and nephews, Doug Krueger; Scott (Heather) McKinney; Maryellen (Todd) Copic; Heidi Middlebrooks; Tara and Lisa McKinney; Jim and John McKinney; Tim Krueger and Shaun McKinney; great nieces and nephews, Marissa and Miranda; T.J. and Macie; Dylan, Peyton, Brooklyn and Sarah; sister-in-law, Sue McKinney and many dear family and friends.

The family will receive guests Thursday from 12-4:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin at 4:00 p.m.
