Helen C. Sights, age 98, of Toledo, passed away April 23, 2017 at Franciscan Care Center. She was born February 3, 1919 in Rison to Sam and Versilee (Stubblefield) Peterson.
Helen is survived by her husband of 62 years, William C. Sights; son, Freddie (Jacqueline) Robinson; grandchildren, Fred (Patrina) Sights, Marlon (Reva) Robinson, Kimberly Phillips , Steven Parks, Darrel Hunt, Arletha Robinson, Darrell Robinson and Cedric Myers; great-grandchildren, Shamar Robinson, Tyler Sights, Damion Sights, Ivan Sights, Joshua Sights, Josephine Galloway, Selina Galloway, James Galloway; great great grandchild, Damia Sights and siblings Franklin Dunn and Jewel Griddine. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her son, George Peterson.
The family will receive guests Monday, May 1, 2017 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). The Burial will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
