Helen Schaub

Helen R. Schaub, age 94, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2016, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, with her loving family by her side. Helen was born in Toledo on October 8, 1921, to Karl & Josephine Willinger. She married William Schaub in Toledo, on January 18, 1941. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, dancing, archery and traveling the United States. Helen throughly enjoyed being around her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 75 years, William "Bill" Schaub; daughter, Carol Norton; son, Charles (Kristine) Schaub; grandchildren, Christopher (Laura); Stephen (Eve); April; Alicia (Blake); Sarah (Jay); Melissa (Mike); Peter (Laura); great grandchildren, Isaiah; Greta; Ilsa; Donovan; Rachel; Evelyn; Mabel; Dinah; Marilla; Lily; daughter-in-law, Sharon Kamm (Ken); sister, Dorothy Goetz (Walter). She was preceded in death by son, William Schaub, Jr.; sisters, Anna Morrin; Margaret Willinger and son-in-law, James "Bob" Norton.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 12, 2016, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo. Funeral services will be held at Lutheran Church of Our Saviour, 2820 W. Alexis Rd., Toledo, on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at 10:30 am. Family will receive friends at the Church one hour before the service. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
