Helen Rose Pfahler, age 74, of Toledo passed away Friday, March 6th, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born June 10th, 1934 to John and Ana (Loksa)Smollen in Mansfield, Ohio. Helen was born and raised in Mansfield, Ohio and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. She was also a proud and loving wife, mother and grandmother, cherishing time spent with her family.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 57 years, Kenneth Pfahler of Toledo; sons, Steven (Marianne) Pfahler of Sylvania, OH and Greg (Francine "Fred") Pfahler of Toledo, OH; daughter, Denise (Chuck) Drath of Maumee, OH; grandchildren, Lauren; Todd; Lindsay; Nicole and Matthew; brother, Paul (Phyllis) Smollen of Mansfield, OH and sister, Marianne (Bob) Herlihy of TN.
Visitation and Funeral Services will be private. Interment will be at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
