Helen M. Rieger, age 78 of Toledo passed away Friday, July 22, 2005 in Lake Park Care Center. She was born August 14th, 1926 to Ardle and Irene (Barnegraf) Clarkson in Sylvania. Helen was a cook for several local Nursing Homes for many years. She was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church and enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her son Gary W. Rieger, her infant daughter Teresa Ann Rieger and sister, Eileen Saxton. She is survived by her loving husband of soon to be 60 years, Walter G. Rieger; children, Ronald R. (JoAnn) Rieger of Pittsburg, PA; Kathy A. (Tom) Van Camp of Hillsdale, MI; John T. Rieger and Vickie G. (James) Rahe; brother, Harry Clarkson and sister, Marilyn Estep; grandchildren, Ryan and Eric Rieger; Bradley and Brian Van Camp and Jennifer and Heather Rahe; great grandchildren, Evan Rieger; Kayla Rahe; Tyler; Shelby and William Van Camp.
Funeral Services will be private. Arrangements handled by Newcomer funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419)473-0300. Interment will be in Ravine Cemetery, Sylvania.
