Helen F. Lehmann, age 87, of Perrysburg, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital. She was born August 3rd, 1920 to Frank and Mabel (Popp) Wilden in Toledo. Helen received her degree from Stautzenberger College and worked for the American Red Cross for 14 years before retiring to Florida. While living in Florida she enjoyed bowling, camping and fishing and working at the election polls. Helen was a devoted mother and grandmother, choosing to move back to Toledo to spend time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her sisters, Verna and Erma Wilden and brother, Melvin Wilden. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Jackie Ackerman and JoHanna Lind; son, Melvin R. (Marie) Noble; niece, Jean Waterloo and family; grandchildren, Kelly (Jeff) Jensen; Shelly (Bart) Anderson; Kimberly (Ronald) Vigh; Scott Lind; Tracy (Michael) Griswold; Robert Lind; Richard (Linda) Noble and James Noble; 10 great grandchildren. A special thanks to Helen's caring friends, Sherryle; Stephie and Marsha.
The family will receive guests Saturday from 1-2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) followed by a Memorial Services beginning at 2:00 p.m.
