Helen M. Lee

Helen M. Lee, age 94, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Friday, September 21, 2018 at home with loving family by her side. She was born on December 27, 1923 to Herbert and Mable (Kries) Sutter, Sr. in Toledo. Helen was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers. She enjoyed flea markets, crossword puzzles and traveling. She loved the time spent with her family and grandchildren. Helen will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Joe; son, Richard Lee; and brothers, Herbert Jr. and Francis Sutter. Helen is survived by her loving sons, Robert (Cindy) and Ronald Lee; daughter-in-law, Brenda Lee; grandchildren, Richard, Jeffery, Kathryn, Joel and Kori (Jeremy); 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Celebration of life will begin on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
