Helen J. Coulter, age 86, of Oregon, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Orchard Villa Nursing Home. She was born July 8, 1928 to Dale and Helen (Dowell) Winn in Toledo. She was employed with Tiedtke's for 10 years as a gift wrapper, Rudy's Hotdog and Jugs Bowling Center. Helen's smile and eyes lit up a room. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the Eleanor Kahle Senior Center, listening to music, dancing, playing on the computer and Yahtzee. Helen loved nothing more than spending time with her family and grandkids.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Sharp and George Coulter, Sr.; sons, George Coulter, Jr. and Ronald Sharp; daughter, Juanita Baum; sister, Elaine Sharp; brother, Robert Elliott; daughter-in-law, Gloria Sharp; brother-in-law, Dwight Turner; grandson, Thomas Sharp, Jr.; great-grandson, Keith Sharp, Jr.; great-great-grandson, Miklo Hamilton.
Helen is survived by her sons, James, Bob (Laura) Sharp, Tom (Cindy) Sharp and Dale (Karen) Sharp; daughters, Debbie (Chuck) Wilkes, Rosie Sheaves and Becky (Sherm) Smith; 28 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Donald (Marty) Elliott and John Meyers; sisters, Rosemary Bath, Pam Turner and Nancy (Bob) Miller; sister-in-law, Pete Elliott; special friend, Mary; many nieces, nephews and dear friends from the Eleanor Kahle Senior Center.
The family will receive guests on Monday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
