Helen E. Gipe

Helen E. Gipe, age 78, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2009 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 17, 1931 to Bert and Erna (Balogh) Gipe in Toledo. Helen was a longtime member of Wesleyan Church. She loved cooking, especially baking. Helen enjoyed camping and fishing. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Helen is survived by her loving husband of almost 59 years, George Gipe; son, Dennis (Linda) Gipe; daughter, Linda (Don) McCrary; 5 grandchildren; and sister, Marge (Clair) Ritchey.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, 4210 W. Central Ave., Please meet at the front gates at 1:45 p.m. The Newcomer Funeral Home (419-473-0300) assisted the family with arrangements.
