Heide Kreps

Heide Kreps, age 64, of Toledo, passed away peacefully, Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born on September 17, 1942 to Wilhelm O. and Elisabeth A. (Mangelsdorf) Pfoertner in Varel, West Germany. Heide loved the Lord and had a strong faith that never faltered. She was a longtime member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Heide was an avid gardener and cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was wonderfully special and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward A. Deiley and son Edward W. Deiley.
Heide is survived by her loving husband of 10 years, Lauren C. Kreps; daughter: Kimberly (Kirk) Whitmore; grandchildren: Abby, Emily, Brie and Cole; mother: Elisabeth A. Pfoertner; sister: Monika (Bruno) Heise; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 2 – 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 10 -11:30 a.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 4207 W. Laskey Rd., until the Funeral Service begins at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
