Heather D. Moore

Heather Moore, age 44, of Toledo, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Mercy St. Anne Hospital. She was born on February 22, 1972 to Blain and Diane (Belanger) Healy in Toledo. Heather was a graduate of Bedford High School and Eastern Michigan University. She married her best friend Eric, the man that made her laugh as they stood by each other through it all. Her pride, joy and mini-me was her daughter Alora, her greatest gift to us all. One of Heather's passions was creating anything that she could by using her artistic talents, including jewelry, floral arrangements and sewing to name a few. She loved disco music, movies and spending time with family and friends. Heather's family will remember her for her loving spirit, beautiful smile, infectious laugh, natural beauty and for telling it like it is.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 25 years, Eric Moore; daughter, Alora Moore; Heather's special little man, Aidan James; mother, Diane Healy; siblings, Michelle (Dean) Thayer, Keith (Julie) Healy, Robin Bahls, Mindy Zezula and Kristi (Mike) Smith; Eric's special mom, Sherry Brownell; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Blain Healy; mother in law, Patricia Hayes; father in law, Alfred E. Moore; Eric's grandma, Boo; Aunt Laurie and special friend, Casey.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Her Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home on Saturday.
