Hattie Marcel Hardy

"Hattie" Marcel Hardy, age 86 of Monroe, Michigan passed away Sunday, July 17th, 2005 in the West Toledo Health Care & Rehabilitation Center, Toledo. She was born January 15th, 1919 to Carlos and Mable (McQuady) Farris in Canesville, Kentucky.

In addition to her parents, Hattie was preceded in death by her husband, James Rudolf Hardy; sons, Raymond; Kenneth R. and John Hardy; brother, Woodrow; sister, Birchel Stevens. She is survived by her loving children, Agnes Mentel; James Hardy and Delores Hummel; brother, Edsel (Linda) Farris; sister, Bonnie; half-brother Edmund Cockrell; Willard Bryant, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive guests Wednesday from 2-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont, Ohio.
