Hattie A. Wroblewski, age 93, of Toledo, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. She was born on January 30, 1920 to Walter and Stella (Oberska) Jankowiak. Hattie was a long time member of St. Hedwig Historic Catholic Church where for many years she baked Polish coffee cakes for their bingo games. She enjoyed spending time with her family and tending to her vegetable and flower gardens.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Ken (Phyllis) Wroblewski; grandchildren, Jeff Wroblewski, Aaron (Amy) Wroblewski, Shelley (Christopher) Barnes, Jaclyn (Walter) Farkas, Steven Wroblewski; great-grandchildren, Sara and Andrew Wroblewski, Brooke Wroblewski and Anthony; Laney and Kyla Barnes and one expected great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Wroblewski; son, Ronald Wroblewski; grandson, Ronald Wroblewski; great-grandson, Leander Farkas; six sisters and three brothers.
The family will receive guests Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday, December 16, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. with the Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Hedwig Catholic Church, 2916 Lagrange Street, Toledo. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
