Harvey B. Klaiber, age 91, of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday evening, July 8, 2015 at Ebeid Hospice Residence where he was surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 7, 1923 to Harvey C. and Ida (Weise) Klaiber in Toledo. On July 31, 1948 he married Jean (Fall) Klaiber in Toledo in the Bishop's Chapel at Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral. Together they shared 67 wonderful years of traveling throughout the United States and Canada in their motor home, traveling to Europe, spending time with their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One of Harvey's hobbies after retirement was building doll houses for his grandchildren. He worked for Pure Oil for over 20 years and later retired from Toledo Hospital.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Jean; children, twin daughter, Shari (John) Schmidt, Gary (Deborah) Klaiber and Marty (Cynthia) Klaiber; many precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin daughter, Susan Casertano.
