Harry W. Walker, Jr.

Harry W. "Gator" Walker, Jr., age 47, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 12, 2014 at home. He was born on October 3, 1966 to Harry Sr. and Sarah (Sickmiller) Walker in Sandusky but grew up in Port Clinton, Ohio. Two of Harry's passions were the Cleveland Browns and riding his Harley as fast as he could in the wind. He loved nothing more than his family, especially his grandkids.

Harry is survived by his mom, Sarah Walker; siblings, Jeffery Walker, Lynne Myrice, Christopher Walker and Edward Walker; wife, Lisa Fitzgerald-Walker; son, Mark; daughter, Melanie; grandchildren, Nevaeh and Gage; nieces and nephews, Danielle, Alexis, Megan, Kylie, Katie, Nicole, Patrick, Scott, Dominic, Brandy, Walker, Randy, Kadin, Lincoln, Henry and Lyrque; brother-in-law, Harold Carlson; and many other family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Sr.; sister, Rebecca Carlson; and brother, Allen Myrice.

The family will receive guests on Monday from 3 – 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). A Celebration of Life will begin Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider an education fund set up for Harry's grandchildren.
