Harry Jerome Krabill Junior, age 86, born September 21, 1936, in Toledo, Ohio to parents Harry Krabill Sr. and Gladys Brazeau, passed away in his sleep on Sunday, October 16th, 2022, at ProMedica Hospice, Sylvania, Ohio.
A man who loved his wife Cleo of 66 years so strongly that his heart was broken from her recent passing, in which he never recovered. They are now joined once again in Heaven full of love and joy with each other. Two soul's inseparables in life and in death.
Harry will be remembered as a hard-working laborer who sacrificed pleasure and leisure for himself in support of the love for his family through a life of poverty. A man who would speak what he thought without fear of repercussion or embarrassment to those around him.
A father who so loved his family, would put on a dress with a pillow stuffed underneath, a shower cap on his head and then dance joyfully with his children. Each taking turns standing on his feet in laughter, dancing to Lawrence Welk music on TV. A one and a two and a three!! Moments of family joy!
Young adults knew not to speed on the streets in our neighborhood or they would be chased down by "Harry" who would proceed to give them a good butt chewing. And his children knew if they did something wrong to a neighbor, he would march them over to apologize and take corrective action. He would shovel the snow out of the street joined by his sons so all could pass safely in winter in front of his family's home.
Harry leaves behind 4 children, April L. Krabill/Stoner, David J. Krabill, Kevin L. Krabill, Roger A. Krabill; 8 grandchildren, Tamara, Angela, Jonathan, Shianne, David, Esperanza, Robert, Kyle; and 9 great grandchildren, Mathew, Alexis, Kai, Logan, Sadie, Corban, Brandon, Leo, and Samuel.
