Harry L. "Butch" Gardner, 64, passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born November 7, 1952 to Dick and Irene Gardner, both have preceded him in death.
Butch is survived by his siblings, Kathy Gardner, Bill (Lynn) Gardner and Tina (Rob) Weller; uncle to fifteen nieces and nephews and nine great nieces and nephews. Butch was a lifelong resident of Maumee. He had a passion for cooking and always loved sharing a favorite recipe. Butch was an avid reader, enjoyed animals and loved to do crossword puzzles. He stayed current on world affairs and loved nothing better than a good conversation. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
The family will receive guests Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 2:00 pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or your local Library.
