Harold A. "Tony" Klein, II
1944 – 2012
Tony passed away peacefully Sunday, February 19, 2012 with his loving daughter at his side. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. In earlier years, Tony sold many cars for George Ballas and Dave White auto dealerships in Toledo. He took pride in his years working side-by-side with his brother, Denny and nephew, Greg, promoting Hydrogen Technology Applications. Tony's most proud achievement was as a carpenter with D.F. Pilzecker & Co. organ builders of Toledo; building the magnificent organ in Cathedral Church of St. Paul in Detroit which took 3 ½ years to complete. Tony will be dearly missed by his family and many many friends. He treated everyone with equal kindness, and was always ready to lend a helping hand.
Tony will be dearly missed by his beautiful daughter, Eliana Klein. She, with her unconditional love provided her dad with strength and dignity. In his final months, Tony was so grateful to find forgiveness and closure with so many, thank you Eric. He is also survived by his mother, Dorothy (Jim) Klein-Keyser; sister, Kathi (Burke) O'Neill; and brother, Denny Klein.
The family will receive guests on Thursday from 2 – 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
