Harold Johnson

Harold Dean Johnson, age 69, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Monday, June 25, 2012 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 15, 1942 in Metamora, Ohio to Kenneth and Mabel (Cole) Johnson. Dean was a professional truck driver, employed by C.J. Bricks Greenhouse for almost 15 years, and also ran Johnson Aluminum. He enjoyed old cars, going camping, fishing and also raced figure eight cars for the Toledo Speedway.

Left to cherish his memory, wife, Frances (Hudson) Johnson; Larry (Holly) Johnson, Richard (Sam) Johnson,Tim (Cindy) Bork and Paula (Chris) Cluckey; 17 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; siblings, LeRoy C. (Mary Ann) Johnson and Kenneth (Debbie) Johnson. In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by his daughter, Candace Michelle Johnson and sister, Carolyn Johnson.

The family will receive guests Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., (419-381-1900). Funeral services will be held Friday, June 29, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Springfield Township Cemetery.
