Harold Johns
Harold G. Johns, age 75 of Swanton passed away Friday, February 6, 2004 in his home. He was born June 27, 1928 to Wallace and Evelyn (Bork) Johns in Toledo. Harold was a truck driver employed with Brinks for many years. He was a former member the American Legion #646 and the VFW #3013.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Julie Ann Johns. He is survived by his son, Donald (Susan) Johns; grandchildren, Beth (Jay) Roberts; Jennifer (Richard) Mains and Mike Johns; great grandchildren, Marah and Avery and step-great grandchildren, Mike; Allison and Joey.
The family will receive guests Monday from 6-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-0300). A Mass of Christian Burial will begin Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Richard's Catholic Church, 333 Brookside Dr. Swanton, Ohio. Interment will follow in St. Richard's Cemetery.
