Harold Huff, age 64, of Sylvania, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, September 10th, 2009 in Saint Ignance, Michigan. He was born October 23rd, 1944 to Herman and Anna (Schitz) Huff in Lithuania, Germany. Harold was a Product Awareness Instructor employed with General Motors for more than 34 years. While he was working at GM, Harold was involved with painting murals and also designed tee-shirts for the company's Trade Show events. He was known as "Mr. Transmission" by many for his ability to tear-down engines and diagnose any transmission problem knowing exactly what the repairs would entail. Harold was an artist, with talents that spanned from wood carving to painting. He spent many hours carving his favorite birds and fish and proudly displayed them at his home. Harold enjoyed fishing with his "Hells Anglers Fishing Club" buddies both locally on Lake Erie, as well as on many excursions up north. He challenged himself when making fishing lures and trying them out on many fishing trips to see if they would "get a bite". Harold also liked ice fishing, snowmobiling, golfing, gardening and just spending a lot of time outdoors in his own backyard or traveling up north enjoying nature. As he loved to travel to Michigan, Harold was an avid Michigan fan, always looking forward to their football season. He also had a soft side and was admired by his family for his love of animals, especially his kitties at home. Most importantly, Harold was a loving husband, father, brother and friend, cherishing the time he was able to spend with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Huff. Harold is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Bonnie M. (Batesole) Huff; son, P.J. Enright; brother, David Huff; mother, Anna Huff and many dear and special friends.
