Harold Davis

Harold Davis, age 78, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2006 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born on July 5, 1928 to Joe and Malanie (Harris) Davis in Memphis, Tennessee. Harold was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in World War II. He was employed with Nabisco as an electrician supervisor for 7 years retiring in 1989. Harold was also a member of IBEW Local 8 for several years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded on death by his sister Lucinda Robinson. Harold is survived by his children: Sharon Davis, Gwendolyn NAME and Joe Davis; 4 grandchildren; former wife and caregiver: Murial G. Davis; stepchildren, Cozetta Allen, Robert "Rocky" Allen and Richard "Rick" (Loretta) Hadley and nephews, neices and other family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests Wednesday from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). A Wake will begin Thursday at 12:00 p.m. followed by Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
