Harold R. Cupp, Sr.
Harold R. Cupp, Sr. age 74 of Toledo passed away Saturday, August 21, 2004 in his home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born July 16, 1930 to Clair and Thelma Cupp in Toledo. Harold was employed with the Kroger Co. for several years working in both Michigan and Ohio opening new retail stores. He retired from the former Globe Industries in 1995 after 22 years. Harold was the past president of the Chamber of Commerce in Milan, Michigan. He enjoyed sports of all kinds as well as fishing and golf and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his sister, Joan Parks and grandson, Bradley James Kolasinski and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Russ and Mildred Young. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Madonna R. (Roberts) Cupp; children, Ann; Linda; Harold, Jr.; Kay; Claudia; Mary; Debra Ann; James; Mark; Richard and Donna Gail; 23 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
The family will receive guests Tuesday from 3-9:00 p.m. in the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena, 4555 North Haven. Officiating will be Fr. Gary Walters. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
Harold's family would like to extend a special thanks to all the caregivers of Heartland Hospice for the loving care and support they provided and for making it possible for Harold to stay in his home where he was comfortable.
