Harold "Bernie" B. Dobson, age 78, resident of Ottawa Lake, Michigan, passed away and went to be with the Lord, on Friday, December 3, 2021, at Fresenius Kidney Care, in Toledo. He was born on December 25, 1942, in Toledo, to the late Harold Elmer and Vivian Adele (Vallas) Dobson.
Bernie graduated from Whitmer High School. He worked as a Toledo police officer, retiring in 1992. Following retirement, he worked at Lucas County Probate Court as a court investigator and court processor. Bernie was a member of the Retired Police Officers Association, Fraternal Order of Police - Lodge 40, and the American Legion - Post 512. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Sharon, where he especially loved visiting the Smokey Mountains. Bernie enjoyed bird watching, old cars and attending car shows, and watching Ohio State football and basketball games. But most of all, family was number one in Bernie's eyes. The memories spent together will forever be remembered. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
