Harold Beebe

Harold "Ted" L. Beebe, age 86, of Maumee, passed away February 25, 2015 at his residence. Ted was born August 22, 1928 in Franklin, PA to Leonard and Anna (Mitchell) Beebe. Ted proudly served in the Navy during the Korean War with the Medical Corps. He was employed with the Beneficial Mortgage Company for more than 29 years retiring in 1984. Ted was also employed with the Associated Physicians at the Medical College of Ohio.
Ted grew up running the hills of River Ridge Farm near Oil City, PA with his cousin Jack. He loved traveling with his wife and their winters in Vero Beach, Florida. His hobbies included golf, fishing and other outdoor adventures including canoe trips in Northern Canada and rafting trips through the Grand Canyon with family and friends. Ted enjoyed attending local car shows with his restored 1934 Ford Pickup.
In addition to his parents, Ted was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Patricia. He is survived by his son, Raymond (Deborah Wilson), daughter, Judith (John Carlson), son, Keith (Michelle), daughter, Jane (Phil) Adams, grandchildren, Kristy, Damion (Amie), Keyla, Anna and Kyle.
The family invites you to celebrate Ted's life from 10am-12pm on Monday, March 23, 2015 at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, OH 43614).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Ted's memory.
