Gweneth M. Daly

Gweneth M. Daly, age 88, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2008 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born November 26, 1919 to Raymond and Edna (Smith) Knaggs in Whiteford, Michigan. Gweneth was a longtime member of Shelton Park Church of God and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Gweneth was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Daly; daughters, Beverly Platt and Shirley Lopez; son, James Daly and sister, Doris Kunckel. She is survived by her sister, Genevieve Cecil and brother, Leo Knaggs; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren;

The family will receive guests Wednesday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
