Gwendolyn J. McDonald Fisher, passed away February 14, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. She was born November 21, 1944 in Nashville, TN to Lawrence & Lillie McDonald, Sr. Gwen graduated from Waite HS, Toledo, OH in 1964.
Gwen was previously married to Woodley Fisher, Sr. and to this union both Woodley Fisher, Jr. & Regina Fisher Bell were born. Gwen worked for Toledo Public schools over 35 years. She is survived by both her children; 7 grandchildren, Alisha, Ashlyn & Lexi Bell, Sierra Farmer, Heaven, Woodley III, Hunter Fisher and great-grandson Kaizer Jackson. Honorary grandchildren; Sarah Bell & Selena Farmer; best friends, Vera & Myrtle, Carrie & Florence. She was also preceded in death by 6 siblings.
The family will receive guests Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 12:00 pm. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery.
