Guadalupe G. Barboza

Guadalupe G. Barboza, age 88, of Maumee, OH passed away December 27, 2020 at his home. He was born December 12, 1932 in Maxwell, TX to Brigido and Mercedes (Gutierrez) Barboza. Guadalupe was a self-taught man who always tried to make things better and easier. He retired from the City of Maumee in 1995.

Guadalupe is survived by his wife of 66 years, Delia P. Barboza; children, Guadelupe Barboza, Jr., Eduardo Barboza, Mercedes DeLaSerda, Reynaldo Barboza, David Barboza and Elsa Barboza; daughter-in-law, Rachael Barboza; grandchildren, Guadalupe (Kim) Barboza, III, Pablo Barboza, Daniel Barboza, Andres Barboza, David J. Barboza, Cristina DeLaSerda, Carlos DeLaSerda, Sergio Barboza and Reana Barboza; great-grandchildren, Diego Barboza, Selena Barboza, Benicio Hairston and Gabriela Barboza; and sisters, Genoveva (Manuel) Vasquez and Dominga (Pedro) Castro and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made out to St. Patrick of Heatherdowns or a charity of the donor's choice.

Due to the current circumstances regulations in regards to COVID, social distancing and face coverings are required.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Maumee, OH.
