Gregory G. Wagoner

Gregory G. "Greg" Wagoner, age 54, of Temperance, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at home. He was born on June 20, 1966 to Lynn M. Wagoner and Gilbert E. Wagoner in Ann Arbor, MI. Greg graduated in 1984 from Bedford High School. He worked as a sanitation worker for over 25 years at Stevens Disposal and also Waste Management. Greg loved the outdoors, especially being on the lake, boating, jet skiing "in the cuts", and fishing. He also developed a passion for rebuilding jet-ski's the last few years. Greg also enjoyed traveling to Alaska and Florida mostly to see family. He was a car enthusiast since a young age, and could fix and restore them as well. Greg loved nothing more than spending time with his wife and children, they were the light of his life. His smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Jean Alexander; and brother, Alex Wagoner. Left to cherish Greg's memory are his loving wife of 38 years, Tana Wagoner; children, Travis G. Wagoner and Alexis L. Wagoner; mom, Lynn M. Wagoner; siblings, Laura J. (John) LaRoe, Christine L. (Michael) Roettger, Leigh K. (Barry) Wagoner-Jones, and Richard P. Wagoner; half-siblings, Gilbert E. Wagoner and Emily Wagoner; mother-in-law, Karen Rowley; brother-in-law, Michael (Holly) Rowley; canine companions, Zeus and Hercules; nieces and nephews, Darrin (Sheila), Danielle (Maui), Brandan (Jackie), Brookee (James), Christopher, Nathanael, Madison, Michelle, Derek and Keirsten; and many great-nieces and great-nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 3 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). (For the safety of the Wagoner family, masks are required with social distancing).
