Greg L. Legech, age 63, passed away on December 5, 2015. He was born on March 12, 1952 to Rosalind and Joe Legech in Toledo, Ohio.
Greg graduated from Libbey High School in 1970. Immediately after graduation he started working at Chevrolet. He retired 34 years later. Greg had a passion for fishing and camping at Harrison Lake with his family.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 20 years, Denise; children, Christopher (Jeannine), Bryan and Sarah (Nathan) Niner; mother, Rosalind; siblings, Jeanette (Ed) Johnson, Kenneth and Phillip; grandchildren, Samantha, Alyssa, Trevor, Caleb, Evan, Reagan, Jackson, Lincoln and Nixon; 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Greg was preceded in death by his father, Joe.
The family will receive guests from 2-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
The family requests memorial donations be made to: Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter, 2500 N. Reynolds Rd., Toledo, OH 43615 or Friends of Harrison Lake State Park, 26246 Harrison Lake Road, Fayette, OH 43521.
