Gregory R. Haas, age 52, of Toledo, passed away September 3, 2021 surrounded by his loving family and friends at Ebeid Hospice. Gregory was born June 6, 1969 in Toledo to Lester and Betty (McConoughey) Haas, the youngest of four children. Greg was always the funny playful one, who was always making those around him laugh.
He was a 1987 Springfield High School graduate and played hockey for the Blue Devils. He was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins, Detroit Lions, and Michigan Wolverines and loved his Rock N Roll.
Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Betty Haas of Toledo, Ohio; sister, Kathryn Gossett of Attica, Ohio; brothers, Michael (Suzy), Robert (Patti), Haas of Holland, Ohio; Amy Hartford, Terrie Pope; nephews, Matthew and Justin Kelsey, Kyle and Austin Gossett, Brandon Schultz; nieces, Katrina (Mike) Young, Frances and Davida Pope, Courtney, Brittany, and Chelsea Haas; along with many great nieces and nephews, a large extended family, and two life long friends, Robert Gast and Gary Lindhurst.
He was preceded in death by his father Lester C. Haas, who will be waiting for his little buddy at the Pearly Gates as his father told all those he loved.
The family invites you to a Celebration of Life party on September 18th, 2021 at the American Legion in Holland, Ohio from 3pm - 10pm.
