Gregory Diggins

Gregory Diggins age 66 of Toledo, Ohio passed away on March 29, 2025 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born in Toledo on March 24, 1959 to Stonewall and Rebecca (Hunter) Diggins.

Greg loved motorcycles (he was known for his wheelies and abilities on a bike), fast cars, fishing, sports (football and NASCAR were his favorites) and cooking (grilling to be exact).

He was a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan and his secondary favorite team was the Houston Texans. Some of his favorite time was spent tailgating with friends at the Texans games. He was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio but his second home was Houston Texas. He loved it there.

He was fun loving and most often described as being a shining star with a bright loving personality. Greg absolutely loved spending time and making memories with his friends and family

Surviving is his son, Keith Brothers; daughter: Julie (Jeremy) Kunz (Diggins); grandsons: Joelle, Jayden, Jordan, Josiah and brother, Willie (Bud) Diggins.

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Stonewall Diggins (2015); mother, Rebecca Diggins (2022) and sister, Brenda Medley (2021).

Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo on Sunday, April 6, 2025 from 3:00-6:00 PM. A celebration of Life service will immediately follow visitation at 6:00 PM.
