Graham B. Lee, age 67, passed away on September 9, 2016 after a courageous struggle with leukemia. He was born on July 22, 1949 in London, England to Gladys and Edwin "Ted" Lee.
Graham graduated from the prestigious Allyns School in London in 1968. He earned his Pharmacy Degree from Brighton School in England. Graham came to the U.S. in October 1998 and chose to pursue a career in Mental Health Counseling. He received his Doctorate in May 2014 from the University of Toledo.
Graham's passion was teaching; he was well-respected and beloved by his students and faculty. He impacted many lives by his compassion and knowledge. Graham will be remembered for his storytelling; loved a good laugh and a great meal, especially dessert!
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 16 years, Patti; son, Sonny Spencer; daughter, Vikki Lee-Mullender; granddaughter, Kendall Spencer; grandson, Sonny Spencer Jr.; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Spencer sister-in-laws, Betsy (Doc) Wurtz, Nancy Corson-McHugh and Patricia McHugh; multiple nieces and nephews. Graham was preceded in death by his father; his brother-in-law, Mark McHugh and nephew, James Wurtz.
The family will receive guests from 2-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. Guests are encouraged to continue visiting after the service.
